Question fat 32 recovery tool

iin linux everything is a file or a process. files have user owner and user groups with access for read write and execute granted, limited or denied resulting in file permission. files are on secondary memory disk or removable media.
a prossess is dynamic and resides in primary memory with access to system resources controlled by os. files have types do processes have types also and is onwed by the proccess that forks it or the user who runs it?

See
Code:
man setuid
I don't fully understand it and I wish I knew more about it.

Talking correction to title from fat rec tool to difference betwern a prog and a process

beg you pardon for the mis info
am carrying some reading on fat system thats the reason for the title.
I appreciate the comment on man setuid which though rather acts on a file rather than a process

FAT32 is a windows filesystem and Linux permissions are not understood by the filesystem. Perhaps you could explain exactly what you are trying to accomplish.
