Fake Windows sys files error

I suspect I messed up when I installed fake windows libraries and system files with wine tools. How do I uninstall them so that I can make a clean reinstall of both wine tools and wine??

where did you install them to?

Check ~/.wine/wine_config (I think that's the file). See where the path to the libraries are kept, and then just delete that folder.

If you really wanted to start over, just delete ~/.wine altogether.

And to remove wint tools I just remove the /opt/winetools folder? That's it? That's an uninstall?

should be okay, AFAIK. Did those files come as part of an RPM that you installed or something? If they didn't, you should just be able to remove them.

They came in an rpm, but I figured out how to deal with that. thx for the help.
