Angry FAKE APT-GET OR YUM resources ???cracker spoof stick ?


I found a website that said some cracker is attacking apt-get,yum rpm resources mirror !!!that possibly one will accidentally download a fake Trojans or virus files from apt-get,yum,rpm .......to its hard drive.

how to trust a resources site,ftp ???

and spoof stick .....!fake website or download resources !

Well you can trust the official repositories. Other than that I don't use any. I do download some source stuff but always from a site I trust.

So to summarise, "I saw something somewhere and I feel worried, how about you?"

Give us a link, please, so that we can see for ourselves. And spoof-stick is a Firefox extension which allows you to see which domain you are on so you can see if the url is directing you somewhere unexpected.
