Dumb question... why www.recruitmentnews.issoff.com? If it's a subdomain, it is suppose to be called subdomain.domain.ext

Another dumb question... do you have a recruitmentnews.issoff.com line added to your zone files? (in case you're using BIND)

I created the sub domain using cpanel on vps server,I assumed that everything was automated, when I received the login confirmation text file.

No I have done nothing expect create this sub domain

As the error states, ServerAlias needs to be in a VirtualHost stanza. Look at this line "ServerAlias www.issoff.com". The <VirtualHost> above it and the </VirtualHost> below it are both commented out.
