Did you solve the problem? If so, why not give back and describe how you solved it? The next person that has this problem and stumbles on this thread might like to know.

sure, sorry for not doing it in the first place.
Actually, as I was reading your post, I just thought trying to install the "devel" (blas-devel and lapack-devel) packages of Blas and Lapack.
So, I gave it a try and it simply solved the problem.

If you installed those using your package manager, I'd guess you BigDFT against the system-wide BLAS and LAPACK rather than the versions in your $HOME like you were trying to do. Might want to make sure if you haven't already.
