Failed to bring eth0 up in SuSe 8.1
Hey : I'm almost a newby to Linux
on boot up get this message.....so I always have to manually insmod 3c2000.0 (> the nic module driver ) When all this done...the nic startup and have access to the internet. Where and How do I have to put this module so it loads at startup ?? Thank You Copter |
Just put the command into a file that is read at boot. In Slackware anything I want run at boot I place into /etc/rc.d/rc.local or you could put the command into /etc/rc.d/rc.modules. I've never used SuSe, so I wouldn't know the equivalent file paths/names. Sorry.
