Failed Dependencies?????

hi guys, when i try to install the version .77 of gaim in FC2 this happens:

[root@localhost root]# rpm -i gaim-0.77-6.i386.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
libgtkspell.so.0 is needed by gaim-0.77-6
[root@localhost root]#

what is happening??
i didn't install it from the very begging so i have to install it manually.

Hi igo_mexico,

you need an additional library ( libgtkspell.so.0) to install the software. Get it and install it, it should be in your distro.

Doesn't fedora also use apt? This package manager frontend helps you to resolve this more easily (because don't be surprised if the libgtkspell.so.0 needs further libraries to install).

HTH, Peter
