Question Faded appearence of application tasks on kicker panel

Hi,
Iam new to linux OS and i have installed SUSE 10.2 . While exploring
KDE i noticed that minimized application tasks in the kicker panel are faded and appear bold when i launch them onto the desktop. Is it possible to make the minimized application tasks appear opaque or fairly visible when they are in the kicker panel or is it a signature of KDE ?please enlighten.
