FaceBook V-Chatter.

Once I click onto a contact, the little box which has the "allow" feature does not appear, thus hindering me from actually connecting to my contacts in order to use my webcam. I can see/hear them, but they cannot see/hear me. Is it because of my Linux OS that I am experiencing this situation? My son, who has M.Windows, can connect...but why am I not seeing that little box with "allow" in it in order to utilize my webcam? Again, do you think that their system is not "Linux-friendly"(so-to-speak)??
Any insight on this matter will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Don R.

The best I can think of is do you have v4l installed? Also, what distrobution of linux are you using, and can you use your webcam using a program like cheese or skype?
