f5d7000 v5, ndiswrapper,FC4. hardware present but no wlan0

I installed ndiswrapper 1.14, installed just fine. Went to install my card, found the drivers, went to belkin site. Drivers do not work. My lspci says it's a atheros comm. card and unknown. Is this card just not going to work, or so i have the wrong drivers? please help been beating my head against the wall to figure this.

Thanks a bunch.

If you use the command ndiswrapper -l and only see "hardware present" and not;
driver installed, hardware present

Then you are using the wrong driver, use the driver as recommend in the ndiswrapper known working wiki;

http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/mediawiki/index.php/

If it has an Atheros chipset, you should be able to use MadWifi instead of NdisWrapper (not that you have to, of course).

When i type -l it does say driver installed, hardware present. However i don't have wlan0 or any light on the card. Is there something i'm missing, If you need any more info please let me know. Really want to get this cracked and figure out where i was going wrong.
