f12 set connection to wifi router
 
I installed f12 and I want to connect to my wifi router with password. Anybody can help me a little bit ?
I try to set a new wifi connection but I cannot activate it.

Hi anika.ella, Welcome to LQ. Have a read here. You'll want the User Guide in your language, Chapter 7. That should get you going.

Thank you - solved ! It was something with the network - I should activate in system-administration-services the net console and nrtfs services.
Now it is working (I had the same problem also on the wired net, and I solve it in the same way.

BTW: Why the hack a linux distribution, that is NATIVE on network, after install has the network service disabled ???????.

well, why the network "issue" was disabled in services ? In F10 everuthing has worked instant after installation. In f12 I had to work a little in services. Why those issues was not enabled from the first beginning ?

I'm not sure what steps you took to get things working, but I believe the intent was to have NetworkManager handle all network interfaces in lieu of the older network services.
