Extract cddb data with discid

Is it possible to extract cddb data from the freedb database with just the disc-id number?
Some years ago I ripped the tracks from a cd with abcde to mp3's. I made a note of the performer, title etc. and the disc-id number. I have lost (loaned?) the disc and now wish to convert the mp3 tracks (presently recorded as track1.mp3, track2.mp3 etc.) to their track names.
cddb-tool query is the command, I think, but it requires the disc-id to be in the form "4c0e8006 6 150 56865 100115 136740 201990 229542 3714" (This is an example!)
Any help would be much appreciated.
Regards
Graham Benney

Might be a stupid question but have you tried searching freedb via their webpage advanced search option to see if the disc information is available?
