External Drive is full

Hi Guys

This may seem like a dumb question, ive been getting messages saying my external is too full to do backups on my server.

df -h shows this

Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sdc1 459G -5.3G 441G - /mnt/USB

It says 441g available but used says -5.3g? Does that mean the Drive is full?

That is strange. I suggest you do a file system check. Eg
Code:
umout /mnt/USB
fsck /dev/sdc1

after doing that, it shows better information

Size Used Avail Use% Mounted On
/dev/sdc1 459G 70M 436G 1% /mnt/USB

Will let it do a backup tonight, nothing should be stopping it now
