expose log files over http


my linux machine has tomcat and apache web server, my applciation (running on tomcat) logs and tomcat logs I want to expose over http please advice me how.

I want to see log files through http so that I need not do ssh to the server machine use tail-f etc.......
please advice how can I expose log files over http.

There are a few security problems with. If you want to secure it u think you will put a password everywhere you go. There is a way to automatically copy the contents of the log file to a new file you would place in the http directory.

Not through web browser but if you are using linux machine then you can view logs using "log file viewer".
For an example if you're using Ubuntu then you can goto System --> Administration --> System Log to view all kind of logs.
