Expiry date for users

Hi Everyone,

There is another small confusion :
How to set expiry date for any user. Suppose a user got expired then how to re-activate that account again ?

The command you want is passwd -x. See man passwd for details.

Hi There,
Thankn You for your help with that, but i don't want to lock the user, infact i want to set the expiry date for the users account. I get the information that if I use 'usermod -e 2009-04-30' then user a/c will get expire on 30 April 2009.
Now the big confusion is that how can I reactivate that account ???
