expect

I have problem installing expect on my fedora core 4. The tcl comes together when I have installed my linux fedora core. I have tarball of expect5-43.tar. I have put the tarball on /usr/local/src. When I tried to install the expect5.43. IT always gives me an error. "checking for Tcl configuration... configure: warning: Can't find Tcl configuration definitions
./configure: line 1106: #: No such file or directory"

How will I resolve this one?

Thanks

just install expect from rpm. it's on your distro cd's, or you can pull it in via yum.
