exam linux slax : HOW TO "show content running live USB/CD"
Hello everyone
I have an exam on Linux, Nobody of the class knows the answer, Is there anyone who can give us a little help? Q: Show me the content of your linux live cd running linux with it... (the thing is we are using a live USB, is it possible with a usb, how to do it, otherwise I tell everyone to burn a live CD, if it is possible with a live CD and not with a USB (= normally not loaded in bios in windows usb = plug&play) Countdown to Mondays exam. Thanks |
Have you actually tried it with a live USB or CD?
It's actually pretty straightforward if you are referring to the files loaded on the actual "live" media. Do you perhaps mean files located in a persistence file? What DE are you using on your live installations? I'm not trying to be rude but your initial post is rather sparse on details. HTH Dave |

Slax live/USB We are all new with slax the question was "show me the content of your live slax cd" aka dutch "Toon inhoud Slax CD" |
If you mean the CD, when you are running the system from the live USB
Put in the CD, and mount it, then go to the mount point and use ls. If you mean the contents of the live USB you are running, go to the mount point of the USB and use ls. Kind regards |
thanx for helping
Anybody knows where I can find a good resume for all the commands with the basic explanation for the text-console in linux slax. (or a quick study guide or something) Have a nice day! |
