Unhappy Evolution will not open

When I try to open evolution I get a window with this note

Failed to execute child process "/home/drew/.mozilla-thunderbird/6qm2spje.default/Mail/POP3.xsinet.co.za/msgFilterRules.dat" (Permission denied)

I am using Jaunty Jackalope and was trying to run Xsane scanning program just before this happened.

Why don't you just change the permissions of the file so that you can access it?
Either
Code:
sudo chown you:yourgroup msgFilterRules.dat
if you're not the owner
or
Code:
chmod u+rw msgFilterRules.dat
if you don't have the read/write permissions.
Otherwise, I'm not sure ...
