evince document viewer in opensuse

Respected sir,
I am using open suse 10.3.When I open a pdf file for which defaults software is evince document viewer 2.20.0 and try to select a text then words that are selected are on top of page not ones on whom I hovered my mouse. These words look big & become visible during selection though there is no problem in reading pdf file.On windows the pdf file behaves properly.Any suggestion to overcome this problem other than installing another software.Have you experienced this in evince.

I am using evince on a Fedora Linux system and text selection works all right on this PC, so I don't think that Evince is to blame. It is also possible that the problem is caused by the specific PDF document.

Try to open the problematic PDF file in other PDF-viewers as well, like KPdf or KGhostView or Adobe Reader for Linux. See if the problem shows up in those applications.

As I have mentioned this pdf file appears properly in windows and selecting text from it also goes normally in windows xp.Is there a place in forum dedicated to SUSE users where I can post this problem to get appropriate replies.
