my problem was i needed to load module bcm4400.0 which i needed a driver for if you are using the same i promise to write up what i did later today.I am watching the kids now give me till dinner time.

hi master, i re-seated the NIC and restarted. Amazingly, the kudzu came up and i was able to brought it up. thanks anyway.
