Well, the quickest way is to see if it's actually there...

Here's what /etc/mail looks like on my system:
Code:
prompt: ls -al /etc/mail
total 204
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 2010-06-28 09:29 ./
drwxr-xr-x 81 root root 12288 2010-12-04 13:51 ../
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 486 2003-05-13 15:07 Makefile
-rw-r----- 1 root root 0 2002-06-01 15:57 access
-rw-r----- 1 root root 12288 2006-02-01 15:11 access.db
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 701 2001-01-03 16:18 aliases
-rw-r----- 1 root smmsp 12288 2006-02-01 15:11 aliases.db
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 2003-05-04 18:09 domaintable
-rw-r----- 1 root root 12288 2006-02-01 15:11 domaintable.db
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 5657 2010-04-23 18:56 helpfile
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 45 2003-05-04 18:36 local-host-names
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 2003-05-04 18:09 mailertable
-rw-r----- 1 root root 12288 2006-02-01 15:11 mailertable.db
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 60482 2010-04-23 18:56 sendmail.cf
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 2010-04-23 18:56 statistics
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 41449 2010-04-23 18:56 submit.cf
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 63 2003-05-04 18:36 trusted-users
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 2003-05-04 18:09 virtusertable
-rw-r----- 1 root root 12288 2006-02-01 15:11 virtusertable.db
And the content of /etc/mail/trusted-users is:
Code:
prompt: cat /etc/mail/trusted-users
# trusted user list (this is equivalent to setting class "t")
(that's the comment and a blank line).

Double post reported. Ribo01, why do you continue to ignore moderators asking you not to double post, as well as other users trying to help you?
