Escape From Win 2000 Professional

Hai All,

I have the remaining of a windows 2000 professional which gives me the error message ntloader not found after booting to the formatted windows with the boot disk of windows. I know this is not very relevent to the forum. But please answer couse I really want to get out of Windows 2000. So I think the message comes even after the formatting because there is some remainig part in the MBR. So how can I remove the contents of the win 2000 from the Linux Command promt? Is it possible? Or the the reason I think is true or something else? I formatted the win 2000 partition from the linux Commnad prompt. Please help me as I am a newbie. Eventhough it does not make any harm, this message makes me so irritaing. So please help.

Thanks in advance.

Bye.

You can post up your boot loader config file and someone could help you better OR you can at least tell us which boot loader you are using, it will then help us to give you some ideas ;)

Also, I'm a little confused. You formatted your win partition, however you are still trying to boot into it? Why?

Cool
