Angry ES1868 AudioDrive problems

Hello,

I'm having trouble with me ES1868 AudioDrive sound card. I can get it to play sounds, but the sounds that come out are choppy and loop when they're not supposed to. I noticed that when Linux boots up and checks the sb module, I get a message about a probable conflict with IRQ 7. Could someone help me out? Thanks a bunch.

hi

this is how I configure my ess1371 card.
you need to open the ternimal and enter /usr/sbin/sndconfig
then follow the direction until you reach a list of soundcard name, so choose the one for you card; press enter
good luck
