Error while using rvm - symbol lookup error: /home/rsurabhi/.rvm/gems/ruby-2.1.0/ruby


I am seeing this error when i try to use ruby using rvm -

symbol lookup error: /home/rsurabhi/.rvm/gems/ruby-2.1.0/ruby/2.1.0/extensions/x86_64-linux/2.1.0/curb-0.7.9/curb_core.so: undefined symbol: curl_global_init

So your details are a little light in the information department, so just to clarify:

1. You have successfully installed rvm using your systems (no distro details provided) package management system? (ie no errors on install and all pre-requisites were also installed, like ruby, curl and git)

2. You are typing 'rvm' at the command line and the first and only thing displayed is the error message you have provided?
