error while running an awk file

I run a ZRP.tcl file and got ZRP.tr trace file.I have an awk file to calculate throughput.When I run the gawk command
$gawk -f throughput.awk zrp.tr
i get the results as
Code:
throughput=-0.0 start time=400 end time= 0.0
what could be the problem?how to solve this.
Info: I use ns2.35 in ubuntu 14.04 lte

Thanks in advance!

Based on the information provided ... no idea. Best guess would be try another awk script as this one is clearly not working for you

How about looking at your other thread, where you were walked through things like this?
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...on-4175526171/

You were given tutorials and sample scripts...again, as you were told before, YOU need to show effort of your own. Post the script that YOU have written, and tell us what you changed/did/tried. Again, you also need to read the "Question Guidelines" and the LQ Rules.
