error while run Enterprise Manager for oracle 11g r2


hi friends ...

im try to run the oracle enterprise manager for oracle 11g r2 in redhat 5.5 OS and got this error msg

[oracle@localhost ~]$ emctl start dbconsole
Environment variable ORACLE_UNQNAME not defined. Please set ORACLE_UNQNAME to database unique name.


and i tried the following query

SQL> select name , db_unique_name from v$database;

NAME DB_UNIQUE_NAME
--------- ------------------------------
ORCL orcl


------------
so where is the problem here ? and how i can fix it

Spell out your words, please. And you posted the problem, AND how to fix it:

It's telling you what isn't set, and telling you to set it. So, type in "export ORACLE_UNQNAME=<something>", and run it again. There are many hits on Google about how to set environment variables, and how...did you try to look this up??

Also, you're using Red Hat Enterprise and Oracle 11g...both of which are products you need to PAY FOR...and doing so gets you support. Did you try contacting Oracle?

[oracle@localhost ~]$export ORACLE_SID=orcl

and then execute emctl start dbconsole
