error: stat of /var/log/ppp/connect-errors failed: No such file or directory

Dear all,

I tried to force a logrotate but it didn't work. See below:

# /usr/sbin/logrotate -f /etc/logrotate.d
error: Ignoring squid.rpmsave, because of .rpmsave ending
error: stat of /var/log/ppp/connect-errors failed: No such file or directory

# /usr/sbin/logrotate -f /etc/logrotate.conf
error: Ignoring squid.rpmsave, because of .rpmsave ending
error: stat of /var/log/ppp/connect-errors failed: No such file or directory

/usr/sbin/logrotate -f -s /var/lib/logrotate.status /etc/logrotate.conf
error: Ignoring squid.rpmsave, because of .rpmsave ending
error: stat of /var/log/ppp/connect-errors failed: No such file or directory

What is wrong ?

Thanks in advance,
