error output while installing Dbus

checking pkg-config is at least version 0.9.0... yes
checking for DBUS... no
configure: error: DBus development libraries not found

output in config.log(last lines)

#define HAVE_GETTEXT 1
#define ENABLE_NLS 1
#define HAVE_EXPAT_H 1

configure: exit 1

what to do?

Maybe installing D-bus development libraries would help or entering the right PATH to it.
