Error opening glibc-common-2.3.5-10.i386 on FC4 upgrade

I am attempting to upgrade from RH9 to FC4. I get to a point in the upgrade process when I recieve an error message that states:
"The package glibc-common-2.3.5.10.i386 cannot be opened. This is due to a missing file or perhaps a corrupt package. If you installing from CD media this usually means the CD media is corrupt, or the CD drive is unable to read the media."
...and it provides options to retry or reboot.

I've attempted the retry option many times, as well as rebooting and restarting the upgrade process. I've attempted re-downloading and burning a fresh copy of the disk image - and used that to start the upgrade.
I can't seem to get past this point.
I'm considering trying the upgrade using a set of FC3 disks to get my system up and running. Any thoughts on getting around this situation would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
