error message starting terminal

I just installed mandriva linux 2007 on my machine and all of the sudden whenever I start the terminal console I get this message:

bash: br: No such file or directory

Never had this message before and been to terminal quite a few times. Anybody have any idea on how I can get rid of this message? Please provide detailed instructions since I'm new to using linux.

Just a guess: Look at your .bashrc and .bash_profile files (any of them might or might not exist in your home directory). It sounds like bash reads a configuration file and finds some line that it interpretes as "br" command. A systemwide configuration file like /etc/profile might also be of interest if you don't find anything in .bashrc or .bash_profile.
