Exclamation error: invalid initiliaser

hi, im a newbie too
i was coding something and this error popped out and i cant resolve it yet...

it goes that...

i created a " message_buf sbuf;"
than i type casted it to "(struct task *)&sbuf" in a function's parameter...
in that particular function i tried to type cast it back to message_buf in this way:
"message_buf rbuf=(struct message_buf *)&task;" but it gave "error: invalid initiliaser"...

is there anything wrong i am not aware of? thanks for your help...
