Error installing software

I can't install this software from source. I did the ./configure and it didn't show any missing libraries or errors, When I type make I get this error message:

ivan@vanya:~/tnimage-3.4.0a$ make
g++ -c -O3 -Wall -Wunused -W -I. -I/usr/include -I/usr/include/X11 -I/usr/X11R6/include -I -I/usr/include xmtnimage65.cc
In file included from /usr/include/png.h:363,
from xmtnimage65.cc:17:
/usr/include/pngconf.h:307: error: syntax error before `.' token
/usr/include/pngconf.h:308: error: syntax error before `again'
make: *** [xmtnimage65.o] Error 1

Does anyone know how to get this working? And how to I unistall a software the I installed but it doesn't work?

Thanks

It was due to poor programmed source code.
Or may be your compiler don't compatible with the code.
Go to google to find a pre-compile package.

I downloaded a compilled package from their website but they only have RPM package so I converted using rpm2tgz. Then I used pkgtool o install it. No error messages. But when I try to use the program I get this error message:

ivan@vanya:~$ tni
tni: error while loading shared libraries: libXm.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Where can I find this libXm.so.3 to install in my system? I tryed to google out but nothing...

Since you use salckware, I cannot find the missing lib for you.
But I found out that that lib is in the following package : red-carpet
search the package rather than the lib may give more chance.
