configure: error: You're missing libpcre.
Download libpcre from http://www.pcre.org or find a binary package for your platform.
Alternatively, you can specify --disable-pcre, but some web pages - using regular expressions in Javascript code - will not work correctly, the regexp support being quite limited if libpcre isn't present.

can i compile with this --disable-pcre,is this procedure is correct,in the above first i compiled without-arts,is this correct, how can i solve this error,if i use --disable-pcre ,then in konqueror browser i may miss javascipt so it cant able to open some javscript,so how can i solve this problem can anyone help me

You either get libpcre, or you disable PCRE support. It's up to you..
