Error in 'make'

I'm trying to install xsynth-dssi, I am able to run configure, but I get an error when I try to 'make'. This is my output:

make all-recursive
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/jeff/programs/xsynth/xsynth-dssi-0.1.0'
Making all in src
make[2]: Entering directory `/home/jeff/programs/xsynth/xsynth-dssi-0.1.0/src'
make[2]: *** No rule to make target `Makefile.am', needed by `Makefile.in'. Stop.
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/jeff/programs/xsynth/xsynth-dssi-0.1.0/src'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/jeff/programs/xsynth/xsynth-dssi-0.1.0'
make: *** [all] Error 2

I have no idea what that means. Any ideas?

What was the output of ./configure ? What distro are you using?

I am using Fedora Core 2.
Here is ./configure:
