"Error failure to add user"

In my Gentoo GUI installer it said that it failed to add user brian. Am I screwed now or can I create a user in the login screen? It has been running for hours now so I don't want to pull the plug on it. Also is it better to have a seperate bootloader partician or not?

Re: User

You can create a user at any time ... once your install completes and you login as root ... add a new user.

Yes, it is always good to have the /boot directory in it's own partition.
