error at startup

Wondered if someone might beable to help me with this...

when i start up RH and log in, i get this error message..

"can not look up internet address for.. then i'm guessing it's my hostname or whatever that was made up for that copy of RH, and tells me it could cause RH not to run right completely"

then it gives me the chance to log on anyway or try again i guess to look up the address... any suggestions on this would be appreciated.. thanks.

Lynn

doing an LQ search for 'hostname' might be worth a try.

but anyway, take note of the hostname the prompt is complaining and edit /etc/hosts as root and append that hostname to the 127.0.0.1 line.
