Error 15:File not found
 

Hi,
In order to test linux rescue mode, I deleted the initrd-2.xx file from the /boot, before copying it to /root.

But its my misfortune that VMWare machine is not booting from the Rescue CD !!!!!! Is there any other way to fix the problem ?

Hello,

I don't know how to make VMWare boot from the CD and I don't know why you don't boot the CD directly (perhaps you don't want to reboot?), but above everything, I don't know how you can copy a file after deleting it.
Tryed QEMU?
