Error: **** glibc detected ****

Hello Friends....
I had developed Qt application in Fedora core 4 .......
Now I ported that application to Red Hat EL ( Ver 4)...
In Red Hat, during runtimes sometimes I am getting following error
Error: **** glibc detected **** double free or corruption( fast op)..........
or
Error: **** glibc detected **** malloc: memory corruption( fast )..........

In Fedora core 4, it is working fine.

Can anybody help me to fix this error ?

Thanks in advance

Nikhil

Which version of Qt is on FC4?
Which version is on RHEL4?
How did you go about porting the application?

In FC4, Qt 3.3.4
In RHEL, Qt 3.3.3

I recompiled application in RHEL.( i.e make clean, qmake, make)

export MALLOC_CHECK_=0

before next running the application.
