epson xp400 printer won't print on ubuntu
 

ubuntu seems to recognize the printer and searches and finds drivers, but the printer won't print test file or from Writer

I have downloaded drivers from Epson.com, and repeatedly worked the 'Add' process in System settings. I'm not certain that I inastalled any driver

This is the recommended driver. Have you installed it?

Have you configured the printer in cups?

If you expect help here, you need to provide some information, What have you done so far? Error messages, etc.
