Question Epson Stylus TX110 scanning everything blue

Im not sure if Im in the right area so hopefully someone will be able to help me.

I have an Epson Stylus TX110 multi-function printer/scanner/copier and for the first year or so it scanned properly. Now it scanns everything blue and I cant figure out why or how to fix it.

Hello. What scan software do you use? What kind of distro are you using and in what Desktop?

If it is xsane software all you need to do is check the color's setting or just go to Home folder then
show hidden files. Look for .xsane folder copy this folder for back up purposes then after that delete
.xsane folder then rerun again xsane software then try to scan again.

Thanks in advanced.
Hope this one help

A distro is a distribution such as Fedora 16, openSuSE 12.1, Ubuntu 10.10, etc.

The software your using is the program that performs the scanning. I'm assuming you're just clicking on an icon on the desktop. That icon, just like in windows, is actually a link to the program.

So, what distro are you using? And which desktop (KDE. xfce, Gnome)? If you hover the mouse over an icon does it show a tooltip with the program name?

If you're using a GUI (graphical user interface), also known as a window or desktop by some, it's very similar to windows which I see from your info panel you use windows 7.

I strongly recommend you obtain a book or other information source regarding your distro and desktop choice.

Tom

Okay. If you don't know about distro. I will ask you again. What operating system are you using then what scanning software
do you use.

Thanks.

If you are using "Windows 7", why you have to ask it on a linux forum. Please ask it on Microsoft Forum.
Maybe there's a lot of answer there.
