Unhappy Enter runlevel error


hello frnds,
Unfortunatly i have renamed the 'etc' folder in centos. so that when i restart my system i am getting "Enter runlevel".i have tried 0to6,'fdisk'and 'i' but i did'nt login to my system.please help me to login into my system with out voilating my data. after login into my system i will deffinatly rename my old 'etc' folder. please help me

Boot from the install DVD/CD/ISO and you'll be able to run a recovery mode which will give you set by step instructions on how to mount your existing volumes to allow you to edit them.

Why did you do that ???

as per above
use the install dvd for CentOS 6.4 and boot into "rescue mode"
and after you type in
Code:
chroot /mnt/sysimage
rename it BACK to /etc
