Question Ensoniq AudioPCI ENS1371 (ES1371 DAC2/ADC) does not work


I've used Ubuntu before using Backtrack 5 r3 KDE 64 bit linux.
After installing it I have made update my system and installed useful software as I needed. but after updating system it doesn't changed. yep! my sound card is not working but I have system sound. it shows notifications as below:

The audio playback device

Ensoniq AudioPCI ENS1371 (ES1371 DAC2/ADC) does not work.
Falling back to HDA Intel PCH (AL C269VB Analog).

now I'm clearing the informations:

that because its not a command in terminal

its a change, if you don't already have it in a config file

Its possible you have copied that default.pa to your home folder, in which case edit that rather than system wide config file
