Talking Enemy Territory


Alright. It came in a .run file. Just like my nVIdia Drivers. Wish dosen't work with them. What do I need to open a .run file? I'm on Linux mandrake 9.1

I've never heard of a .run file before.. are you sure it isn't just a shell script or since you mentioned Wish, a tcl file? Have you tried opening it up to see what the first line says?

Hmmm

I see well, perhaps this will help. The file names for both Enemy Terrirory and the Nvidia drivers are as follows----> NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4363.run and the ET one is----> et-linux-2.55.x86.run What do you think?

have you tried making it executable by your account and then typing sh <filename>.run?

Do a ./whateverthenameis.run it is basicly a shell script.

sh whatever.run
