Enabling a usb wifi modem in Linux

Using the awus036h in windows is easy...just disable the wireless mini in the device manager and you are good to go.

In BT5 I checked wicd and there doesn't seem to be an option to enable a usb wifi modem.

Anyone know how to enable an alternate modem in Linux?

you probably need to install driver for that card. Maybe you can disable your wireless mini in BIOS.
