embarassing email ?

from a command prompt I type mail and I get command not found. The embarassing part is that I have this server setup for postfix / procmail / fetchmail / spamassassin / and courier IMAP. Which all works fine...

I need to get mail working from a command prompt so swatch can email me when there is a legitimate problem.

Any suggestions on where to start.

You probably don't have it in your path variable. Besides mail command usually is just a link to one of your executables, be that sendmail or qmail. try either using root account or looking for sendmail.

If you were on gentoo, i'd just say to emerge mailx package cause that fixes all the links for mail.
