EMail Server

I registerd from a domain hosting company and my ISP give me a smtp service to be configure in M$ Outlook. My question is, I want to setup email server in my home, what do I need?. I'm planning to use RHES4 or FedoraC 4 . is there any Step by Step or How To's?

Hi westverg,
Its really nice of you to go to the limit of configuring a mail server all by yourself. You will get a really good documentation from http://www.sendmail.org/m4/readme.html . A mail server is a real challenge to setup, let it be any software. If you go through any troubles feel free to contact through this forums...
