Email Not Getting to mailboxes

Hi I'm running Zimbra 5.0 on Suse 10.3. Everything was running fine the last few days but eversince yesterday it keeps deferring the email. This is the exact messages I am getting :

Delivery temporalily suspended: connect to 127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]: connection refused

and the second message is

mail transport unavailalable

I can't anything so far that is helpfull. Please any suggestions

I would try "/etc/init.d/postfix restart" or "/etc/init.d/sendmail restart" as a knee jerk response.. just to make sure your mail server is up.
