Email needs to forward to new Subdoamin
 

My company is changing it's mail subdomain...Example:
was @sub1.domain.com -> @sub2.domain.com. I wanted to build a sendmail box up to handle this until all the sending parties get the new address. I'm sure it's in the rewrite hearder part of sendmail.cf but I just don't understand how to doit. Any help wold be greatly appriciated.

You shouldn't have to mess with the sendmail.cf

thanks but will this change the subdomain in the email and send it back out the the appropiate destination ?

any mail received to someone@subdomain1.domain.com needs to be changed to someone@subdomain2.domain.com and sent back out to that mail server. This is just a gateway so to speak that is needed only to change the subdoamin part of the email address and send it on.

Will this take care of all that or do I need something else ???
