Emacs with Gmail


Is it possible to use my Gmail account with Emacs? If so, please tell me how to do so!!

EMACS is a text editor. I dont know why you would want to do that. In short, you can not use gmail with emacs. You can use gmail with a mail client like evolution etc. You can get information for that on your gmail account.

Emacs uses RMAIL and both RMAIL and GMAIL support POP3 so I would say it is quite possible. I have not tried it yet but Emacs alway's amazes me, so I have know doubt someone has done it...

Emacs is a lot more than a text editor. It also has a mail client, games, calendar, programming tools etc.
