Emacs Menu Bar

I feel really, really dumb asking this, but I can't figure it out...

How do you get to the menu bar in the text mode of Emacs? I've tried everything I can think of and I've looked it up on Google and here on the forums. I have found nothing at all, which leads me to believe it's something incredibly obvious...

Anyway, any help would be appreciated.
